A response from the author Letters |
|
I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for my article,
“Creeping it real,” which appeared in the June issue of the Carillon. While writing it, I did not realize that it would provoke the type of response which it has, and I certainly wasn’t expecting it to be so controversial. My intention was simply to shed some light on the situation, and acknowledge that it does happen, whether we would like to admit it or not. The easiest way to do this was to write it from a personal standpoint, which has created a less than flattering view of me. I am not condoning this type of behavior; I realize that it is wrong, but unfortunately, it does happen. If you are among the readers who were offended by my editorial, please accept that it was not intended to offend anybody. -Jordan Reid |
